Election for club officers
Plan for Area 51 and continue cleaning and remodeling of Area 51
Discussions for up coming meetings and set goals for next semester and year
1)
Election was held for club officers for the positions of; President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The names will be announced at the next meeting on Tuesday, December 11th 2001 in Area 51
2)
A plan was set for the clean up of Dana 51. Most of the tables and chairs have been moved to the outside hall in order to vacuum and clean the floor. The top right bunk or upper level has been cleaned and the top left level will be cleaned at a later date. Some materials still remain in the room. The room will be accompanied by some new computers as well as work benches. Models of the flying wings will be hung from the ceiling to take up less ground space. Meeting times will be announced for more clean up and organization of

Plans were also set about what is supposed to happen in the coming months. Some of the suggestions that were made was to create a jig to cut all foam to make the airfoils. Computers will be moved in to design features. Benches will be constructed to help with maintenance and building. Learning on simple techniques as well as some planned test flights for the wings were also discussed. Sponsors as well as financing were brought up and representation at fairs and expos were concluded.

Demo Aircraft
Plans and layouts for device tool for cutting foam
Designing wings/airfoils.
Announcements of Officers
1)
We looked at and decided what type of aircraft and types of construction for
demo aircraft for the club members as a starting tool to learn how to design and build. Small aircraft were the choice for practice runs.
2)
Plans for a device on how to cut foam for the airfoil for a 1 - 2 meter wing of an aircraft. Figuring out how this device works to cut the foam into a certain shape. Websites were brought in to look at plans for the device from different manufacturers.
3)
Discussion on how wings are supposed to be built and constructed. Wings are not cut into on piece but instead into four or five different pieces connected together by epoxy and covered in various different materials to smooth out the airfoil.
4)
