Post-Doctoral Research Associate position; September 2009

A Post-Doctoral Research Associate position is available immediately for work on a research project in the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering. The position requires a PhD in Bioengineering or Materials Science and Engineering with expertise in inorganic biomaterials processing and characterization. Knowledge and hands-on experience with in-vitro cell culture is also required. Experience in cell signaling, in-vivo research with small animals (e.g. rat or rabbit) is desired. The project is funded by a research grant from the NIH. This position will be for one year with the possibility of renewal for additional years depending upon availability of funds.
