Scholarships - Kaiser

Interdisciplinary Excellence Built On World-Class Knowledge

Through the generosity of the Kaiser Foundation, we are able to offer scholarships to students for incoming students in Materials Science and Engineering. At the bottom of this page, please find a link to the application form used to apply for these scholarships. The deadline for application for incoming freshmen and transfer students in MSE is August 2, 2006 for the Fall 2006 term.

We will select up to 5 students for the Kaiser Scholarships, with awards of $1000 per year given. Each award will be renewable for one year; all Kaiser Scholars must maintain a 3.2 GPA to renew for the second year. To be eligible for the award students must be newly enrolled at WSU as MSE majors with an MSE advisor, and freshmen must be registered to take both Calculus and Chemistry the first semester at WSU. This special application is only for new students and transfer students, currently enrolled students should use the standard MME scholarship application form.

To request an application online you must have a WSU network ID and password, if you have not yet setup you WSU network ID and password you may do so at this page.
