Washington State University's Mechanical Engineering Program at Everett
Starting in fall 2012, Washington State University's School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering offers a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program in Everett. The School has professors on the Pullman, Tri-cities, Bremerton, and Everett campuses providing students with both academic and career advising. The majority of courses are taught by the resident faculty. Adjunct and visiting faculty are also utilized to enhance the educational opportunities for the students. Student contact with the faculty outside of scheduled course times is strongly encouraged. Courses at the Everett campus are a combination of local faculty and courses originating on the Pullman and other campuses.
The WSU BSME degree program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET Inc., 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012, telephone: (410) 347-7700. This program will be evaluated for accreditation as part of the comprehensive accreditation review of the WSU Mechanical Engineering program in 2013-14.
