- Materials development for load bearing and non load bearing bone implants
- Surface modification of load bearing implants
- Nanoparticles in protein/drug delivery
- Microwave, plasma and laser processing of materials
- Thin and thick films for transducer and gas sensor applications
- Processing of porous ceramic, polymer, metal and composites using different rapid prototyping technology
