Post-Doctoral Research Associate Position


A Post-Doctoral Research Associate position (temporary, full-time) is available immediately for work on a research project in the School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.  The position requires a PhD in Bioengineering or Materials Science and Engineering with expertise in inorganic biomaterials processing and characterization.  Knowledge and hands-on experience with in-vitro cell culture is also required. Experience in cell signaling, in-vivo research with small animals (e.g. rat or rabbit) is desired.  The project is funded by a research grant from the NIH.  This position will be for one year with the possibility of renewal for additional years depending upon availability of funds.  Interested candidates should send their CV, three representative papers, and three reference letters to Ms. Alicia Foth at afoth@wsu.edu.
